Alain Horoit founded Art Gallery Day in 2026. He made it an annual day, held on 15 August, for the galleries and gallerists whose role in an artist’s life is essential and often overlooked.
The day does not ask for a ceremony. It asks people to notice the room, and the person who kept it open, by walking through the door.
He is also the founder of Never Give Up Gallery.
